STOLLER EUROPE, S.L.U. has carried out the project entitled “Optimization of the size and final texture of Halkidiki olives produced in Valencian fields” financed by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) included within the aid program for R&D PROJECTS IN COOPERATION (PIDCOP-CV), co-financed by the ERDF Funds within the ERDF Operational Program of the Valencian Community 2014-2020, with a subsidy of € 18,466.80.
The project deals with the study and development of new techniques and innovative tools in the cultivation of olive trees to obtain Halkidiki olives in the Valencian Community, being able to reduce the effects of climate change on crops. These advances will allow the fruits to have an optimized size and an improvement in the final texture, increasing their firmness and hardness.
