Barley

Barley

It comes from Southeast Asia and North Africa and belongs to the Poaceae family.

It has narrow green leaves, a fasciculate and shallow root system compared to other cereals, an erect and thick stalk with 6-8 internodes, flowers with three stamens and a pistil of two stigmas and the fruit is in cariópside with glumillas (except in barley).

It is the fourth most important cereal due to its ecological adaptation and applications and the most producing countries are Germany, Canada and France.

BARLEY RECOMMENDATIONS

Vigor Seed Cereal

Dose:
- 0.5 L/100 Kg seeds

Moment:
- Seed treatment.

Application purpose:
- Improve germination, as well as initial root development. Stimulates a better tillering.

Bioforge

Dose:
- 0.75 - 1.5 L/Ha

Moment:
- V2 - V4. Mixed with aggressive herbicides and fungicides to help the crop counteract the phytotoxicity.

Application purpose:
- Increases production by avoiding stress caused by herbicide and/or fungicide applications. Increases root development.

NBX Cereal

Dose:
- 2 - 3 L/Ha

Moment:
- Mixed with other phytosanitary applications before tillering up to pre-flowering.

Application purpose:
- Promotes shoot radial expansion, avoiding lodging.
- Controls excessive growth, improving tillering and production by an improvement in spike formation.

Stimulante Plus

Dose:
- 1 L/Ha

Moment:
- Start of Tillering.

Application purpose:
- Increases production, balancing the crop’s hormonal system, increasing tillering and subsequent development.

Bioforge

Dose:
- 1 - 2 L/Ha

Moment:
- Stress situations (frost, drought, hail, disease).

Application purpose:
- Blocks ethylene production and recovers hormonal balance and growth. Helps the crop recover after any stressful situation.
